Thus, from about 1990 to the early 2000s, the emigration rate of high skilled workers increased from about 14.4% to 18% of the stock of the working-age population with a university degree. We don’t have much evidence for the last few years, but it would be fairly surprising if we didn’t find this trend accelerating.
